City Garbage Truck coming
January 23rd

The city has approved our request for a trailer to be placed in the pool parking
lot on Saturday, January 23 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Household brush and bulky items can be brought to the pool parking lot by car or truck (no trailers) during these times only.

Acceptable Materials: Appliances, furniture, tree limbs and shrubs, mattresses, tires, lumber, auto parts, water heaters. They recycle clean brush, metals and tires, so please help by separating these materials.

Unacceptable Materials:
Liquids, chemicals, pesticides, oil, concrete, bricks, soil, sod, commercial and industrial wastes, demolition/remodeling materials such as sheetrock, roofing shingles, etc.

Please remember that this service has been reserved exclusively for the
Braun Oaks neighborhood!

Attention Lady Tennis Players

The ladies tennis night has been changed from Tuesday to Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Please come out and play with us. You don't have to be a pro. We just play for fun and exercise. For info call Carrie at 520-7526.

Children's Christmas Party

The children’s Christmas party was held at the clubhouse on Sunday December 13.
There were crafts and ornaments made, lots of goodies to eat, games, music and all our young ones had a wonderful time. Santa arrived and handed the kids a treat for visiting with him. Thanks to Vanessa and Robert Lozano for organizing this fun event!!!!

Annual Polar Bear Swim

The annual Polar Bear Swim was held January 1st. This year, it was a true Polar Bear Swim, well at least for San Antonio. The water was cold, and the weather was crisp and beautiful. But that did not stop the crowd of residents who braved the frigid pool.

As usual there was hot cocoa and donuts for all and a souvenir travel mug for those brave enough to take the plunge.
